A good presentation. I attended a similar one last year and felt like I was closer after this presentation to being able to use it. But I still don't know how to install docker or any of the basics. The process itself was presented well with a good delivery style.

A very solid presentation. The parts about the current trends and header-blindness were entirely new to me from the UX course I took 5 years ago. I wish there had been more information to cover and maximize the time, but it was a good presentation as far as it went. Delivery had a good amount of humor and enthusiasm for the material.

Very information-rich presentation. I think you did as well as possible while trying to cover so many different database options. I think it may have helped to have more examples in one or two of the database types and just cursory coverage of the others. Delivery style was adequate, though a more expressive tone would have helped me stay engaged in the material more.

This was great. Good principles that were easy to digest even for non-design folks. Slides, volume, and pacing were all good, and talk was what it claimed to be. Well done.

Fun session with a great overview of how social engineering can compromise a company's (or personal!) security. Compact presentation that contained a lot of information but didn't feel rushed.

It's probably really hard to do this presentation without a ton of text. I think it would make a really good workshop or tutorial... there was just so much information and code that it was hard to appreciate the end result.

Covered the principles and value of event sourcing without going too deeply (it's a giant topic). Speaker's voice was kind of swallowed a bit by the large room, maybe a microphone positioning thing?

Code samples could have been trimmed down a bit I think. A lot of namespace declarations and such that didn't add much to the core concept

Super fun and a great intro to PHP 7. Just needs more shimmy, I mean shim. ;)

I think some of the container examples should come with a disclaimer not to use containers inside of applications, *except* when dealing with legacy apps. Besides that, the talk was well thought out and should really help people see how to do incremental improvement on legacy apps.

I would have liked more detail on how OG MVC differs from web-based MVC -- side by side comparisons, more visuals to illustrate your points. Instead of saving all code for the end, use it throughout to illustrate differences between patterns. Maybe cut out the MVC variations section of the talk to go more in depth with MVC vs ADR?

Really appreciated your even-handedness on ADR -- it didn't feel like you were trying to sell the idea, but rather provide an objective overview. The talk seemed stronger towards the end. I would have liked to have heard the final conclusion of the talk (i.e. web-based MVC can work just as well as ADR) throughout the talk. Otherwise it felt like you were setting up a strawman version of web-based MVC to compare to ADR, only to come back at the end with a more measured view.
