Talk comments

It doesn't get much better than this. Really, this talk set the bar very high in terms of quality and content.

A likable guy, and at times an interesting talk, but substance and context were lacking. We were all there to get pumped about PHP, not about the landscape and state of bureaucracy at NASA. Still good stuff, just not a good fit for the kickoff slot.

Ilia is clearly a very good speaker and knew his topic cold. As with Varnish, I'm so far from needing such tools as MemcacheD that everything but the concept escaped me. Very useful info though.

While I appreciated learning more about Varnish and the whole arena of web caching for performance, I'm clearly nowhere near ready to be concerned with the topic. It's great to know of such a tool though.

This topic was obviously a hit. I was not able to sit in the room for it and so missed much of what was clearly and excellent talk and topic.

Security is always a tedious topic to those of us who just and to get on with the business of delivering content. But this talk did a wonderful job of reminding us all of the nature of the World Wild Web. Thanks for putting such an entertaining spin on the topic by putting it in the context of the jailer's view point.

So many great new features! I particularly appreciated this topic. Being recently returned to PHP from any years hiatus the topic was an eye opener. Thanks for the great info.

Nicely done. A good speaker and quite insightful with excellent topical content. I particularly liked his description of the struggle to shift the mindset from the proprietary tools to the newer open source options; a very common refrain in my experience.

I thought this talk was fantastic. I went into this event not knowing anything about Gamestorming and I an now ready to intergrate into our team meeting and client process
