Talk comments

I wish we had more time to cover this topic. It was obvious that Mike had so much more to give us!

Ben covered a lot of ground in a short time. It was good to hear more about this frequently unless area of web work.

Great talk. Room was very hot, but he wisely didn't mention it. Soon I was engrossed in the content and forgot all about the temperature. UX focused on coding choices we make. Every developer should think this way. We can all improve UX by thinking like our customers do. Empathy is key.

Good takeaways, especially regarding proactive prevention and regular monitoring. But, can we put it into practice? Proactive discipline in the workplace is difficult. Strategies on how to implement and sell this approach to executives would be cool. He correctly made the argument that it was cheaper to address security before the inevitable breach. Need examples on ROI and making it so. Mike had a good balance of stories and actual code.

Great speaker and content. Needed more time. Session was sold out and deserved a longer time slot. Entertaining and informative.

Good content for a few minutes. But, martial arts? When you only have 45 minutes to talk and field questions, you shouldn't spend *any* of that time talking about your personal, extra-curricular, activities. If you get that request during Q&A in the future, you should suggest they meet you somewhere during the lunch break. It seemed very self-serving.

I'm glad this talk was included, but it was very slow and didn't have many new insights. Impact of moving the knee forward was eye opening. To be fair, we were all hungry due to an issue with the lunch vendor. Tough crowd.

Excellent! Technical challenges and tough crowd at first, but he won them over with charm, smart talk, and activities I can use immediately on the job.

The "NASA" name created higher expectations. Surprisingly, it sounded like any large corporation - inefficiently running in silos. Honesty was refreshing. At least they seem to be working on it. More than I can say about many of our largest corporations.

Sheeri is a breathless and enthusiastic evangelist for MySQL. What a great collection of information about database events.
