Great talk. I thought I was synical about the security services but found that their surveilance went way beyond my worst fears.
Javier's accent did make the talk difficult to follow at odd times.

I'd listen to this guy talk about anything - engaging - funny - also pretty scary as always :D Thanks for your higher profile this year - can we see you on stage more next year please?

Thanks, Dan, for projectchaplin http://projectchaplin.com - I uploaded a couple of video files but seeing the error message: 'sorry this video has yet to be encoded'.
I'm very interested in this project since it relates closely to my area of work - (sorry I missed the start of your talk)

Javier Ruiz from the Open Rights Group (https://www.openrightsgroup.org) gave an inspiring talk that questioned why most of the public in the UK don't appear to be concerned about the fact that all of our online activity is being monitored. He urged us to challenge this and encourage others to challenge it too. Excellent stuff.
