Talk comments

Really nice venue, although the layout did encourage small groups to stay where they were and not mingle much. That said, I did have lots of really great conversations with some amazing people.

Absolutely loved this talk. It's clear that Alan and James have a lot of respect for each other.

The two platforms clearly have different goals, and that reflects in the language that each of them were using, and as such, a "Top Trumps" (albeit, no actual trumping went on, aside from the commentary about phone OEMs ;) ) format was really good!

Overall, probably my favourite talk of the event.

I really enjoyed this talk. Although it wasn't very well organised (perhaps spending 10 minutes picking photos in advance might have helped?) it was good to hear some of the more interesting anecdotes from his trip.

I actually love Javier's accent

Really good to have chance to see the OSs on real phones and to have a discussion that showed real empathy and respect between the protagonists.

I planned to go to another talk half way through but Alison's talk was so interesting I stayed.

Great discussion on why we don't get more designers involved in open source software. Took a little while to get things warmed up though.

Scary as hell. More of the same next year please.

Made me go and find out more. Exactly what a good lightening talk should do.
