I enjoyed this presentation I think Clint did a good job of covering the basics, grabbing peoples attention and providing resources to get people started. Haven't heard of zwave before, and I can't wait to check out his repo and help out if possible.
Opinions like AJ's have their place. Its good to help people understand issues with any language. However, I think the way he went about it was unfortunate. It was very disrespectful to those in attendance. I've heard of AJ before and his love/passion for JS, unfortunately my opinion of him has dropped significantly.
This workshop was actually hosted by Steve Citron-Pousty of Red Hat.
It was a great introduction to OpenShift! I really liked having the sample app to work with. He didn't just talk about OpenShift, but explained the other technologies it touched as well (Iaas, Paas, Git, MongoDB, etc). Made me feel completely ready to write an app and deploy it on OpenShift.
Awesome talk. Good food.
I heard this one was a no-show. Thought people should know, Jeff was real sick all week and apparently could not get well in time for the presentation. Knowing Jeff like I do, I am sure he would have been there if he could.
good talk.
Love the idea of home automation in the cloud and that Clint is taking steps to make this a reality at a low price point and easy enough to use that you can plug and play for parents.
