Talk comments

Entertaining presentational style and the talk contained a number of good ideas and practices.

Great insight, and the casual tone/pace (with interjected audience questions) was refreshing.

Best talk of the day, hopefully there will be some more talks of the same calibre. I'm not sure about choosing Ajax requests over ESIs for snippets of page content that shouldn't be cached (such as a shopping basket's product count); it feels like coding the application around the caching solution. Food for thought, in any case. Thanks for the great talk.

Nice Insight into the workings of a very large dev team.

Good presentation style. The content could have been better focused for the audience.

Interesting talk and has me wanting to try it out, but seemed to speed through the demos which didn't add much apart from prove the examples given worked.

Very good. Well presented and very interesting content covered.

Quite possibly the most useful and interesting talk of the day!

Elizabeth is normally a very engaging speaker. This talk was lackluster though, sadly. The talk was originally intended to be one hour long so to fit into the 15 minute slot, she just spoke very fast. That sadly didn't work so well :(

Interesting talk which gave a nice overview of the subject. It would have been good to follow the examples and demos up with common deployment architectures. For example it's common to have different server instances with various stages of the application such as demo, staging, preview and production. It would be nice to get some setup information of Phing in these situations. Thanks.
