Talk comments

Really quick walkthrough of the differences of php 8.x versions, as well as some great examples of why they are good to use. Time went by fast and wish the talk was longer.

I really enjoyed learning about Prism and what it can do. I got a bit lost once he put the Gemini API key in since I didn't have one, so I stopped trying to code along, but paid attention to what he was doing while also going and grabbing a Gemini API key for myself and making a really basic implementation of it while he spoke. During the talk, he showed the documentation and examples which made it really easy to refer to while having some fun with it during some free time last night.

I still give it 5 stars due to the amount of excitement I had the whole time, and everything that I learned during this talk, but I think in the future it would be beneficial to maybe go a bit slower and easier to follow along since it was presented as a hands-on experience.

As someone who's never heard of Rector before this confefrence, I really liked this intro talk. Gave great examples as well as basic explanations to the benefits of using it.

Steve made it REALLY easy to understand value objects, and the benefits of using them. Was easy to follow the presentation from start to finish and really appreciated how easy it was to learn.

I've never felt so personally attacked but at the same time feeling so motivated.

Seriously though really powerful talk and had my attention from the start. Really hit me with he said you can feel relief while working your way through grief. Just one of the many thought provoking things I got from this talk.

I feel like the description should’ve been clear on the tight relation to Laravel.

Andy is a terrific presenter. Did the workshop last year and learned so much about DDD. This year’s talk helped clear up some issues with value object implementation. I highly recommend any talk that he gives!

This was wonderful, I love seeing people care about this. The content was awesome and full of great ideas for ways to improve things. There is so much potential here since so little has been done so far. Literally inspiring.

Andrew has great content. I like how he uses his interest in beer to discuss immutability. His slides used dark mode for the code snippets which I don't mind. However, the low contrast with the background make the code slides hard to read.

Great talk and demonstrations! It was very apparent that Chuck is super passionate about the content.
