I enjoyed this talk, and there are several advices that i'll take on board!
Great talk, Ciaran provided some real lightbulb moments for me. I'll definitely be grabbing the slides and keeping them close to hand for future reference - excellent work!
I'm expecting next time a better presentation,
with no problem to see the code from the back of the room and
please buy the licence of the software next time.
Thanks to everyone who has provided feedback - really appreciate it, all valid comments, and I will take them into account when I am thinking about talks in the future! With this talk I was trying to make it useful and accessible for as many people as possible - certainly there is another level to look at here for more advanced optimisations / performance improvements, and hopefully that's another talk that I can submit for next year!
Speaker not so engaging,
very basic talk.
TIP TOP. You are a brave man Davey but it definitely paid off this time. Very interesting and inspiring talk and I think 30 minutes is a better length for a keynote than an hour.
One minor gripe, it was difficult to understand Davey at some points, wether this is because of the audio equipment or because you spoke a little quickly at some points I'm not sure. It's not enough to lose a thumbs up over but just something I think you should be aware of.
Loved it.
Thanks for the kind words!
An interesting introduction to RabbitMQ and the possibilities it provides; James provided us with some good examples and clear explanations of the basics. I might have liked to see a comparison to other MQs, but that's a minor point.
An excellent talk - Yitzchok has a wonderful, rich, deliberate delivery sprinkled with dry wit. Obviously his source material is rich, but enriched it even further.
