Easy listen to round up a great phpuk16! Definetly made me want to fix this bug on Joind.in, where you write a comment then press submit, and realise you didn't rate it, and have to rewrite the comment! Hehe. Yes, this is the second attempt hence bad grammar! Thanks Liam! :):)
Part of me was glad that some of the ideas Michael was presenting we are already doing where I am, but still plenty of things we are not doing, and things we should be looking at certainly.
The 'money shot' was of course the demo, which I think amazed the entire room.
Great content, well presented, can't say much more than that!
Agree completely with this talk, engaging and well delivered. Thank you! :):)
Really good talk, well paced and addressed some important issues. Yes there was some overlap with Thomas' talk, but I think it's good that two different speakers are saying similar things, as it really re-enforces what we should (and often are not) doing as developers.
Not really had a chance to look at ZF 3 yet, so really interesting to see how they are going about changing the fundamental architecture.
Certainly alot of things I want to be checking out, and looking forward to getting to grips with some of the ZF3 components,
Not sure what I took away from this talk, but during the slides I chuckled lots and was engaged! Thank you! :):)
Granted AOL are working on a whole other level from the stuff I am dealing with, but some really great ideas about how to handle the problem of huge volumes of real time data in an effective way, with some things I am certainly going to be checking out!
Humorous, engaging and thought provoking. Many thanks! :):)
Very interesting topic, and well delivered. Thanks! :):)
A checklist of everything we are doing with Doctrine is wrong. An interesting talk from someone who clearly knows what they're talking about.
