Comprehensive and concrete explanation on how to benchmark your application properly and how to improve those numbers.
The content was nice but it was super hard to keep up with your English.
Interesting but a bit too much repetitions.
it was known from the start that this would have nothing to do with devlopment. I went to this talk to see how to improve the performance of our MySQL server and it helped me a lot.
A really excellently delivered talk! Very informative and entertaining at the same time. Some of the stuff is really interesting, especially the performance and trying to improve the "official" PHP along. Less sure about HACK (why not go for real Java?) and really not convinced by XHP. But because of the idea, not because of how it was presented.
Very interesting talk.
I learned a lot on the way opcode and function call works under the hood.
A good introduction to ansible, a tool i only had heard the name of, before this conference. I appreciated being shown some "real" configuration files and how they are organized - but actually running the commands was not that interesting. Instead, i would have loved to see a custom extension in PHP, this kind of stayed with the claim that its pretty easy without proving it.
I'm absolutely new to NoSQL in general, seeing this made me realise how impressive it can be.
I'd love to see Stephan keep in touch with the audience a bit more as in more eye contact across the whole audience every now and then. Other than that I think it was a good presentation.
