Talk comments

Had been looking forward to this talk; I missed it at PHP World 2014. Absolutely fantastic.

An amazing talk, which comes as no surprise. Really good takeaways, I walked out with a few personal bullet points to improve with myself. Really enjoyed the emphasis on being apart of successively larger and concentric communities, as well as the call to action for cultivating mentors and being a mentor.

As a side benefit, TIL what the Talmud actually is.

You definitely convinced me on using flysystem.

I'm definitely going to give Flysystem a try, and moreover, suggest it to other developers on my team who didn't make it to the conference, but need to wrestle with AWS uploads.

Quick, sweet and convincing talk!

Great tutorial! I especially liked the suggestions for refactoring an existing application with has a lot of client-side code with jQuery to something more modular, leveraging Backbone and Underscore, as I've travelled down that path myself and found it extremely useful and light-weight libraries to understand. Also, great examples of how important it is for PHP developers to get comfortable with shifting from server-side only development to single-page applications, with thick clients talking to APIs.

As mentioned before on Twitter, Yitzchok Willroth's opening keynote really goes up to eleven. I wish I had heard this talk when I started coding with PHP some 14 years ago. I can highly recommend it.

Very clear explanation and good prep of the available material and files. i enjoyed it! The only thing that caused some confusion with me was the missing composer stuff, but Andreas went about it patiently and got us back on track.
I think the practice side of things would be even more concise if fugu was left out (or included just as a notice instead of a hands on)

But all in all this was a great intro to Docker, thanks!

This was a fantastic tutorial - I learnt a lot about compilers and interpreters. The pace picked up very rapidly once introducing PhpParser to the heap machine and covered a lot of topics in an "overview" style, but I don't think that was a particularly negative point, it just is. Thanks loads Anthony & Igor, awesome! :)

Excellent talk. Really enjoyed the comparison between the Talmud teachings and the way they apply to Software Development, but more importantly to grow as a Software Craftsman
