Talk comments

Gifted speaker and able to deliver his points spot on. This talk inspires me to think a lot harder before using those pesky arrays (which I already tried avoiding) and now I have the proof that confirms I was right all along. Thank you.

It's always interesting to hear other developers solutions to the problems they encounter and compare them to how you would have done it. I agree with some other comments here that the talk itself was perhaps not a 100% what I expected of it, but it was education nonetheless.

You were sometimes hard to follow, I assume you had some small issue being nervous, but all in all a good talk delivered by a very colourful lady :)

It's a keynote by one of the most entertaining speakers in the PHP community, Uncle Cal Evans. What more is there to say? :) It was a perfect start to the PHP Benelux 2020 conference.

I liked this, but sadly not enough about how to use it in everyday life.

I always like the closing raffles, good ambiance and great video preview as per usual.
One recurring pain point: the raffle numbers were all from the same 150-range. I keep hearing grumbles about that. PHP-WVL has a nice raffler, why not use that?

Cool!
Totally new concept for me, but got a good grasp of how it can be done.

Would also love to see the cluster with the entire audience!

A good refresher but in my opinion it lacked a real code example. I would love to see how you implemented vault to store your secrets.

It is pretty damn cool!
The gentleman in the audience is absolutely right.

To bad for your nerves, try working on those and a bit deeper dive in your examples. I would love to see some real live code, maybe setup a small project with a common mistake, real (partial) setup of the yaml rule set. This would give me a better first impression on why we need this cool tool.

Don’t let this 2 star rating stop you from speaking! It is a pretty cool thing, but the talk needs some love to convince the audience.
