Agree with the sentiment of the talk - developers all too often re-invent the wheel, and we can help each other via open source and packing our solutions. However it was quite a short talk, and didn't really add anything new to my knowledge or experience personally. Having said that, if it persuades one new developer to package up their solutions, then it's done its job.
A good talk, and something that is relevant to many developers, with good pieces of advice, although some was more just general and scrum advice rather than specific to lead developers.
The speakers delivery was very quick, which made it quite difficult to follow however. Improving the pacing of this talk would make it a 4 star talk.

I know the topic as onion architecture. Great that you spreading that idea. You've mentioned that magic functions are great, but I want agree, because every magic and automagic things are not clear for code readers.
