Nice try! The story was well built, so as to engage the audience. The speaker was clearly a bit nervous (or excited about the topic) also because of the little time available. Maybe after a few more replays he will be more fluent.
Of course being the last talk of the conference did not help.
I suggest to add "Openstack" in the topic title and to keep doing this talk in other conferences.
One of the best talks of the conference. Very inspiring, and you can feel that the author knows deeply what he's talking about. Thank you for sharing these insights - and for creating such important tools!
Lorna Mitchell talk was definitely up to expectations. The structure of the talk was clear and easy to follow. The mood was funny but also competent, so the message got to the audience in the best possible way. Well done!
I have mixed feelings about the talk. The quiz format, while definitely engaging the audience, was a bit wasted time in my opinion. Why don't just go on and explain those tricky comparisons?
And then, some of the mentioned PHP functions are so dangerous (unintuitive result, different behaviours in different PHP versions) that the only good suggestion is "don't use them".
So I did not took away very much from it. Of course the talk was marked as "beginner" so it's probably a bit of my fault.
I knew only a bit of Vagrant, but thanks to this talk I made a big leap forward. Well done! +1 for the big smiles and enthusiasm put into the talk.
The talk itself is ok, but other speakers put a bit more enthusiasm in their talk. Thanks for sharing some cool tricks though!
I guess this talk was one of the best of the conference, because of the topic and the passion of the speaker. He definitely believes in what he's saying :-)
It was a very interesting experience about making tests more performant and more solid... but the talk itself could have been shorter and a bit more engaging.
I would have liked a bit more focus on the actual solutions and less time spent on the introduction on both frameworks.
