Thought it would be just a talk about comparing the easy way. But visiting the talk gave me a big headache and made me feel stupid :D
Afterwards the main thing I keep in mind is that different PHP5 versions can result in different results. Good to know!
Fantastic talk, the best of the day for me. Loads of interesting content presented very clearly and engagingly with plenty of humour and examples. And despite the large amount of content and the copious example code, nothing felt rushed. A very enjoyable way to end the day, topped of, literally, with a great hat.
I loved the infectious enthusiasm and happiness of Akihito! There were parts that felt like they were under prepared and needing reading, particularly in the last section, but the talk was very enjoyable and informative overall. I'll definitely be trying out BEAR.Sunday.
An unconvential talk, but the quiz format was a great and fun way of getting the message across. It might've been improved a bit with fewer questions/required answers and a bit more time to give explanations, but the salient information was all there so that's a minor quibble.
Great content, with plenty of good examples crammed in despite it running a little short. The speaker seemed subdued, probably through no fault of his own as a result of the late flight/arrival. It did prevent the talk being quite as engaging as it could've been though.
Whilst a keynote needs to be generalised and should cater for a wider audience than a normal talk, I felt this was a little patronising. It didn't seem to be giving much credit to the audience's intelligence.
The idea was fine and the content was presented well enough, if a little cheesily, but I just didn't get much out of it. And as the headline talk it was disappointing.
For a talk with zero prep it was great. Team working is an important part of modern development and making a team work well together is an important skill. Definitely should be a proper talk
Brilliant closing to the conference. A confident talk with great humour
Whenever I hear Derek talk about xdebug I always come away learning something new - and this was no exception
Just what was needed to start the day; very informative, but not too heavy and with plenty of humour.
