A nice introduction to DI and DICs that replaced the jargon with basic concepts. The content covered will have an immediate impact on my work, which can only be a good thing.

One of the most captivating speakers at the conference, and raised some great points.

I found talk this quite interesting, and I'll definitely be looking to incorporate this into my workflow. However, as this was an introduction, I would have prefered more time spent on Vagrant over Chef.

The split screen worked well, a unique way to start the conference. While some of the points were quite obvious, they did raise some good points. Also, the stories that Lorna and Ivo both told more than made up for it.

I enjoyed the opening keynote, some good points to take away.

I thought the split screen worked really well, although it did feel odd being in the second room while Jeremy was introducing the conference, atmosphere wasn't as good as I imagine the main room was (and has in previous years). Felt a bit disconnected.

Once the talk got going I thought Ivo and Lorna presented the talk really well, and the duel room worked well.

Great talk and Volker was as entertaining as the previous day. The topic was interesting although maybe I was a little too fuzzy headed after the social to really grok everything. I'll definitely be re-watching once the videos are up.

Best talk of the day. Huge amount of interesting and colmplex knowledge compacted in a well receivable talk. Speeker was very skilled and prepared, clearly knowing what he's talking about. Slides were a great to sopport his points.

However... regardless how many and high quality the slides are, they not tell enough in themselves. If you've not seen the talk just go through the slides, you cannot understand enough. If you've seen the talk it will keep your knowledge refreshed and help remembering, but without the talk they're not enough. Probably would need more description on some and sticking a few more wordy explanation slides here and there putting things in context.

I like his talking speed and rhythm. Fast. It was like a riding on a roller-coaster. Highly entertaining. Also interesting and import topic for modern architecture. My most favorite talk of the conference !

Rowan has a knack for delivering fantastic talks like this one. Very enjoyable, entertaining and thought provoking.

Also full of kickass geek culture references and awesome graphics.

Lorna excelled as expected proving to be a truly professional speaker.

The videos showing example usage of curl were particularly well orchestrated - there are too many speakers with the "I can pull it off" attitude who do live demos full of typos and forgetting flags and such. Video makes much more sense. Well done Lorna!
