Brilliant talk from "the man"

Excellent. Obviously there was a bit of confusion on the timing, but the question & answer period was good.

Back to basics talk, mostly stuff I was already familiar with, but quite a few good points that I've seem to have forgotten along the way.

Good points against using any one specific framework, but instead using bits and pieces you need from all the frameworks.

Brilliant speaker, sharp, witty, and with the right amount of sarcasm. Practical stuff, clever solutions to the problems, and to the point. Everything legal, of course!

Father of PHP gave a very insightful historical overview of the language, since its beginnings, and look to the future of PHP.
