I learned a tremendous amount from this talk. Harrie used clear and simple examples and provided a really good set of demo classes/methods to work with. Harrie is clearly knowledgable and passionate about this topic.
It was great overview talk. You can add CDN caching front-end caching techniques.
The adoption stats are somewhat depressing, but it was a great talk, and a good wake-up call for *why* WP is still supporting 5.2, and will do so for a good long time.

I was struck by south for the winter's similarity (judging by three code in the slide) to doctrine migration.
I was hoping for more info on the latter, though.
This was an awesome introduction to node.js. Chris provided some real-world examples on not only *how* node.js and PHP can work together but also *why* you would want to work with them together. I would have liked to have heard a bit more on the theory/inner-workings of node.js.
