Great workshop showing off the basics of testing. Time constraints put a small wrench in the presentation, so we had to ditch Codeception, but I was mainly interested in PHPUnit anyways. My only other complaint is that it would have been nice to know up front to download the code repo and have it set up, but that wasn't too bad and I was able to follow along (I had a setup in place to drop in nicely). I know of others who had issues following along due to issues with getting the pre-req setup.
I walked away having more of an understanding of what is required to set up some basic tests and I have a good starting point for when I return to work.
I really enjoyed this talk. It gave a nice explanation of the difference between AI/machine learning. Joel was able to run through some exercises which was great.
Lots of great information presented well. I don't think Deployer is a good solution for my team personally, but I really liked learning about it. It seems like a really flexible solution.
I liked the presentation for the most part. All of the slides and examples were easy to follow. The speaking was clear and easy to follow. My only constructive criticism is that the talk was a little dry. I find having some unexpected things and/or humor helps to keep people engaged and attentive.
The name alone deserves five stars. ?️
Great talk. Liked how the there were practical examples how to incorporate "bare" concepts into legacy applications.
The talk was very insightful. Lots of good info technical provided about the Magento info without going too deep into the technical details. The only reason I didn't score this a five was because the talk was very dry. I find injecting some humor or unexpected things helps keep people engaged and hold their attention.
Thanks for the great talk :)
Well presented, well spoken. This was an intense topic that was presented in a way that made it easy to understand.
Great talk on the tooling that can make API discovery and testing easier. This version of the talk was given with screencasts rather than live execution; I don't feel like it diminished the impact of the talk in any way.
Lots of great practical advice for what devs and managers can do to get the best out of their neurodiverse coworkers/employees
Great content. A bit too heavy on personal anecdotes and side conversations. The talk went drastically over time, but even the skipped slides looked to have fantastic content. Would love to see a more rehearsed rendition or just giving the talk more than 50 minutes.
