@Chad: Puppet or Chef are definitely tools that can be used to provision production servers. These same provisioning scripts can be re-used to make sure your vagrant boxes represent a copy of your production environment.

Awesome tutorial. I'd learned the theory behind design patterns before, so this was a good refresher for that and a great help in how to implement them in PHP.

Great way to round out my first PHP conference. Good takeaways, great presentation and very engaging despite the fact that everyone in the room had been going all day.
