I think this was Rasmus' best talk. Great info on deployment and very inspiring message which will hopefully make people think. The room for QA at the end was also very useful and interesting.
This was two talks crammed into a one hour session.
Sean has great energy and lots of great tips and insight into dealing with distractions and imposter syndrome. I just think keeping them together does one or the other a disservice as you are not distracted by your imposter syndrome. The break in flow is just weird and a bit confusing. Unless you distinctly wanted two 30 min talks, but then we should be able to rate them individually.
That being said, I think more research in both subjects can yield two awesome, impactful, and much needed talks that can greatly impact the community and each one fill their own hour.
Great energy, funny jokes and most importantly great information.
A great intro in building REST APIs.
The talk did not completely focus on using ZF2 to build, so it is a very helpful talk for anyone needing help starting with REST APIs.
Excellent talk. I love how he made us think about what was wrong and made us find things on our own, but some of the repositories were a bit long for us to go through in the small time frame given. After we analyzed them ourselves and discussed what we found I would have liked it if Anthony would have showed us where he started and all the points he had found so that we would know what we missed. This seemed to happen sometimes, but not with them all and I think there were many things we missed that weren't discussed.
Maybe instead of relying solely on audience recon, have an answers slide(s) after each repo with all the problems with the code and we can discuss how to fix them all. Then maybe ask the audience if they saw anything else to discuss.
Great presentation on an interesting topic.
Is truth we have to stop trying to build the next Facebook and work on more important and useful software.
Great talk, packed with useful information.
I already been using phprspec for testing, but i found a lot great points in this talk ! great talk.
This talk let me a lot to think in how we doing development and most of the time we don't care about some little numbers right :), awesome talk !
I have to agree this talk is a masterpiece. Rowan was funny, entertaining but also intelligent, smart and very effective delivering the message. I've been to many talks in many conferences and this was on the top 3 of all time, thanks Rowan!
PS: Where is the 6 ^5 ? :)
