Ashley did a great job of explaining the concepts first, and then walked us through an example. She catered to the large group by making sure everyone knew certain topics before skipping a basic explanation, and broke down all of the concepts well. I got everything out of this talk that I was hoping to.

The many tools presented really persuaded me why caching is important. I wish we spent a little more time on each slide going into a little more detail of how to use the tools. As such, it felt a little rushed at times. As a suggestion, the code on the slides was very hard to read because of the small font size and lack of contrast. All and all good information presented.

Fantastic talk from a very engaging speaker. The points made in this talk are not specific to the IT industry and I believe that anybody could have positive takeaways from this presentation. The part about even the small ways to stand up for yourself are especially relevant. I've got a handful of friends and colleagues who struggle with that so hopefully this keynote empowered them a little!

Probably my favorite talk of the day. Jason did a great job I thought keeping the audience fully engaged from start to finish. This topic is a tricky one because it's easy to overlook how important it is. I thought Jason's code examples and stories did about as good of a job as you possibly could of in helping to drive the point home.

Great information, engaging speaker, but I have always struggled with abstract concepts.

It's always interesting to see a non-just-engineering view of an engineering problem. I really enjoyed the talk.

Great presentation with some really thought provoking background information and tips to apply that info. Thank you Nancy!

Fantastic information about MySQL 8 - I'm especially a fan of the new MySQL shell! I think the pace was a little off, but over all great information about the new features.

This year's theme is communication and Cal really hit the nail on the head with this oneh

The code examples really helped with the point. I liked how he showed the progression of code and make an argument for each piece that was changed.
