I felt Jeremy did a great job in of Evangelizing the need for people to contribute in Open Source projects.
He provided a lot of insight into how to get started once you find a project that appeals to you.
Very well designed and well presented talk. The information presented was clearly earned through first-hand experience, and the presenter's conversational style was a very good fit with that. Definitely one of the best talks of the conference!
Good talk. As you said, I agree that having an example of how your app should respond in "failing situations" would have been beneficial to have.

While I did not get anything new from the talk, it was well presented and provided a good introductory base for Javascript and jQuery.
Excellent "from the trenches" chronicle of a particular company's growth from a single server to a large, complex cloud-based infrastructure. More detail on the bottleneck analysis and decision process at each stage (ie: what alternatives were considered and why) would have been nice, but did not detract from the overall experience. Well done!
Good advice about looking for the best tools to solve problems regardless of the language. Thanks for sharing your experiences with various tools.
