Quite interesting (and entertaining!) presentation with interesting angle on the topic of simplifying software to a point where "one button does all the things". Although the topic itself is for a larger debate (as intended), Goran did a great job of providing the reasons why he thinks the way he does with some real-world examples. Overall - great and intriguing talk!
Entertaining at times (data & data2 being worst variable names ?), however, expected a bit more - there were many practical advices which I believe would make more sense if it were assembled within single example which at start was improperly named and then through presentation we arrive at this nicely-named example with all the reasons why it is. Having it presented like this felt like all over the place, some cohesion would be better.
Great talk for a first-timer! :)
Presentation (the tempo/speed, slides) felt a bit short sometimes for me in a way that it I missed a bit more of an explanation why/how you came to conclusions you presented. I was more interested in the actual work - how you arrived at conclusions than conclusions themselves. It was your master thesis so you probably poured a lot of work and time into it, but I couldn't "feel it" in the presentation as at times it felt a bit without a substance. Otherwise, gg!
Practical, educational, funny and surprising. Jenny pushed all the buttons ?
Interesting use-case and insight that went into designing logo for a WordCamp, definitely feeling a bit more motivated (obligated maybe?) to contribute back to open source in any way I can. Maybe add a bit more various use-cases to see how it differs between the projects (both in size, collaboration etc.) and it would be 5* for me!
Went in with expectations to get better at writing emails, proposals, blog posts or any other business communication and was not disappointed.
Although all of your writing skills could be (and were) summarized into "writing is simply - work" it helped to get few tips & tricks to get ahead, either with practical tips around writing (structure etc.) or motivational (why write, how often etc.). Ivan did a great job at reviewing our on-the-spot written articles, however I would appreciate if next time he was a bit more critical/"harsh" in giving out the feedback :)
All in all, you can definitely learn a thing or two (or more!) from Ivan ?
Great talk, interesting topic
Interesting and entertaining talk, despite the topic being well-known and well-discussed
Felt like getting two great talks for the price of one, very interesting.
Morten did a wonderful job presenting the CSS grid paradigm shift! I believe that if topic were any different, the presentation would still blow everyone away because Morten does it with such an ease and comfort. Overall - great presentation and even better presenter ? Great job!
