A good coverage of the subject and well presented. After many years of having to manage upwards when it comes to giving estimates it was nice to hear someone addressing a number of the major pain points.

I've added the link to the joind.in event.

I did not manage to get the slide link down from the last slide, is there any chance that could be added here?

Great start to the day, really motivational. Didn't make day two but spent the time getting one of my projects off the ground; much of that was down to Josh's talk.

I genuinely appreciate all the feedback.

The comments about timings are spot on. I had entirely misjudged how much audience participation there would be (normally no-one speaks) and I handled that quite poorly. It's the first time I've ever been heckled at a web conference!

Enjoyable and full of useful/usable information. Slickest talk of the day.

I felt a bit cheated that he skipped about 30% of the slides saying "we're never gonna get through that" - so why is it in the presentation? If we're unlikely to cover it, don't tease me with it in the intro.

He did make some good points (especially about responsive design) but that's perhaps the only thing I can take away from this talk. The last 10 slides were like browsing through quickmeme.

Well presented and the content was good.

Really enjoyed both the overview of the open street map project and the practicalities of gathering the data required. A good balance of the technical and the social aspects of this data set

An entertaining talk on what can be a very dry subject. Really well delivered and I think I finally understand the maths behind the magic.
