This was an awesome workshop. I've been working with Jenkins and CI for over 3 years now, and yet i still learned some new things. Mike is also a really good speaker, that was able to deliver the information in a way that kept me focussed. Keep it up!

Good workshop that really showed how to setup and use the very basics of PHPUnit in a way that creates usable tests. Even though i didnt really learn a lot in this workshop, it still showed me that the way we're doing it now, pushes us in the right direction. I'd recommend this workshop if you're just getting into PHPUnit.

Excellent talk and really inspiring! The talk made me realize a couple of things, like that I don't know the training budget of my team, or the skill gaps that we have and it is awesome that Lorna pointed this out.
Would love to hear more about leading the change within teams, specially when you're not the teamlead or architect.

A workshop that really grasps the benefits of working with CI. Mike is a clear speaker who really gets your attention by simply just using his experience to explain things. The workshop had a great introduction that pulled you right into the Jenkins material.
The hands-on practice with Jenkins was very fun and helpful but it needed more time. And IMO it deserved more time! :)

All in all great workshop from a great guy!

Great workshop to quickly get into the swing of unit testing with PhpUnit! The structure of the workshop was good and there was plenty of time to practice the things that were shown to us. Joshua was very helpful and took his time to answer all the questions of the attendees. It was also great that he used his own experiences to teach us some of his best practices.

Mike is an excellent speaker and did a near perfect job explaining what QA is all about.
He made me realise that QA is much more than only automated testing.
QA makes teams collaborate and makes sure less time is spent on fixing tedious bugs.
Really enjoyed this workshop, but it was too short imo.

Hat tip to Mike for an excellent workshop.

Great workshop by a great guy.
The workshop provided a great intro for PhpUnit usage and contained some practical hands-on examples on data providers, mocks, stubs, ...
Allround great workshop.

I was very happy today to participate at this workshop. Joshua convinced us today that unit testing is possible and worth trying even with big legacy code projects. I would love to watch Joshua Thijssen in another speech talking about more advanced unit testing tips and techniques.

Mike did an excellent job explaining how quality assurance can be accomplished by using Jenkins as a continuous integration server. Due to the big amount of work needed to setup the server, I would say the duration of this workshop could be a bit longer. It would be also great if Mike could suggest a list of books/tutorials to go a step further.

Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the workshop and would definitely recommend to watch Mike van Riel in a future conference if you have the chance.
