Mike set up an excellent workshop. While supplying the virtual environment, no software was (really) installed so that we learned what software was need to get a fully deployed environment. Because the software was already downloaded on the virtual environment, there was no need for us to drain the network so we could move on without the network slowing us down.
Having a README file present on the virtual environment with all the commands needed to be executed, it didn't matter whether or not you were following along: fast people could work ahead, more relaxed people like myself could stay up to speed.

Very helpful workshop to get your PHPUnit on the move.
While an environment was supplied, I set up my own (virtual) environment and ended with a nice working set of tests.
Location was superb, time was great for getting started with PHPUnit. Now I've got all I need to get going with my existing (and upcoming!) projects.
Very good introduction, nice pacing.

I've learned a lot of new things about cryptography. A subject that i was eventually not very interrested in. However, during the talk i kinda got interrested a bit more. I did sometimes lost track of the subject, because of the inceptions that i've heard. Cryptography is a larger subject in our daily work than we actually realise ourselves, so thats why i think that its good for everybody to learn more active about its possibilities and offcourse also its limitations.
You want to see this talk if you are not really sure what cryptography can do for you.

The talk was pretty good. It covered some of the daily problems we encounter with sustainability but also about cost effectiveness and guaranteeing the knowledge in your company. I've actually written down 2 things that i'm bringing home from this conference already. I'd say that is a nice start. Good speaker too, she really takes her time to deliver the message and doesnt rush.
Really an excellent talk that made me think about the training budget of our team, the bus factor and how relatively easy it can be to achieve changes within my team.
The presentation has a nice build up, like always.
We all should be (consciously) using cryptography more on the web. Explanation of the working and the advantages of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) made everyone (once again) aware of why we should use it.
