Talk comments

Good talk on deployment practices. Appreciated the speakers declaration of what environment he works in. It helps places his talk and advice. Good overview, good practice. Was happy I could attend.

Great talk, learned a lot.

More live examples and deeper explanations would've been nice. Reading to much the slides.

nice over view of the solid principles of uncle bob.
He gave a good number of examples to make some of the 5 principle more understandable.
Unfortunately you will just be able to understand the slides, when you had participate the presentation.

Now my code sucks, thanks ! ;)

Ps.: The practical examples are really good.

It's hard to cover a topic as large as web performance in just a single conference session and still tailor it to all levels of audience but Jordi has done a good job here. Quick touch on well established rules and then a more detailed coverage of what's relevant today. I'd have liked to have heard a bit more about how mobile phones handle these issues though. I second Ian's comment that this talk was entertaining. Good job.

Some old stuff, a lot of new stuff, well presented. Christian has researched the topic well, and summarised an extremely vast topic effectively. I've been doing performance work for several years, and I still learnt a few new things at this talk.

Very good talk especially since these are not tests that I could ever have tried myself given the costs involved. Morgan's thorough coverage of the subject means that I can just use the results with confidence.

Good talk by a speaker who really knows his topic well. Fits in well at a developer conference. Very good insights and references to take away.

I share the opinion of the others: entertaining talk, learned some things I didn't know you could do in PHP.

The bad thing about the talks (and this is a good thing as well) is the chaotic delivery. I had good fun watching it, but it needs a bit more practice I guess. I understand this is a brand new extension, so once it's out there and known, the presentations will probably be more fluent.

Nevertheless: it's worth a 4-star rating.
