Great talk covering the topic with a sense of humour, hope to see you next year :)

Great presentation, great sense of humour, I knew about Redis before attending but Jordi helped me understand the context of usage of this kind of tool. I really think we "saw the future" in this presentation.

Live demo is always cool. Great presentation without fuss, just real stuff. Thanks

Good introduction. Now I know what Solr is (+link with Lucene, Nutch and so on). Unfortunately too short

Live demo is always cool. Would have appreciated a slide (just one slide) helping understand what was running what (like V8-javascript run time engine running node running a js script... if I got it right). Anyway great presentation, good sense of humour

One of the most useful talks I heard during the whole conference. Covered all the major points with the right amount of depth.

Absolutely love the diagrams on how HTTP requests leave and return to the browser (my second time seeing this part of the presentation). It's probably the best visual representation I've seen on the subject matter.

This was my first real look at the internals of Varnish, so the subroutine control flow diagrams were a huge help. It really helped me understand pass and miss.

Every developer should hear this presentation!

@Bruce

LOL...I agree about the command prompt. I've been meaning to switch to ZSH anyhow so I will likely have a cleaner prompt before the next time I get in front of a group again. Thanks for the reminder.

As for the larger font...yes, I agree. I had some trouble fitting what I wanted on the larger font slides; however, I could have mitigated that by spending more time splitting up the examples or simplifying them so they could cater to a larger font.

As for stopping more to gather questions...I suppose it depends on the audience. That being said, I may have discouraged early stoppage since I gave an early disclaimer that I had a ton of slides to cover. Maybe that was a bad idea -- maybe letting it flow as it may would be a better idea. Thanks for the thoughts.

Excellent feedback. I will definitely incorporate going forward.

Slides have been updated to include an example INSERT change-set which also includes the "context" attribute as mentioned during the Q&A portion.

Interesting and I liked the concrete examples.

Excellent write-up. I've been following the progression for months but it was nice to see your slides which gave a nice summary. I didn't make it to the talk, but the slides are awesome.
