Really good introduction to search. Easy understandable explanation on search engins in general and excellent walkthrough of the different engines out there.

Great talk, conclusion for me: solr rocks (I already knew that but it was interesting to actually hear about the features in detail)

I had thought that this presentation would complement the Scrum Workshop I had attended. Unfortunately it didn't. Thorsten is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced in this area, so I had really hoped for more depth and detail.

Speaker spoke clearly and had good knowledge of the subject area, but I didn't get as much as I hoped from the talk. Couldn't read the green or blue writing on the black background in code examples from halfway back. Probably better if you are an existing Kohana developer, but neither the title or description mentions the fact that this a demo of the Kohana framework and not about software or application design in general.

Another refreshing and humorous talk by Elizabeth Naramore. I very much like the advice to take some time to get the suck out of your articles.

Not very interesting as Cairo is rather immature. I was hoping for more information regarding PDF generation.
