Talk comments

Not only was this talk very entertaining, it was also quite confrontational in terms of what you're doing as a developer to increase usability of the system. The speaker was very passionate about the need for usability, which went down very well with the audience. All in all a great keynote!

Very entertaining talk, lots of great examples, lots of energy as always from Aral.

It was an informative talk, and learned a lot on the subject. But too bad it was not covering any examples.
Also a lot of bullit points on the presentation, which made him read from the screen.

This presentation wasn't really what I expected of it (could be my fault). Too generic and stuff I already knew. Presentation style was a bit boring, especially after the great keynote.

Very interesting, and very usefull tips. Covered a lot of ground. Both on the configuring server, and optimizing the database and tables itself, and the queries.

Fast moving informative talk, really interesting concepts.
++ on the pointing device next time.

As said above, at the start it went a little too fast, and it covered a load of information, it was very intersting and worth it and will cost me many nights of implementing it myself.
However, sometimes I had the idea Joe didn't knew some basics himself.

Thanks for this talk, I got a very good idea how 0MQ compares to other MQ servers. I really will try 0MQ with some greenfield or pet project soon. The ratio information to presentation time was good for me, but I suspect it could be overwhelming if you don't know concepts like ESB and PubSub. The slides, though beautiful, could perhaps be improved by making clear if the nodes are clients, servers or 0MQ instances. I really liked the code examples!

Good talk with clear examples. Nice.
