Paul seemed a little bit nervous, but nevertheless a good basic introduction to searching with Solr. A bit of example code would probably enhance the talk.

Great talk, good pace and enough mix between humor and sincere content

It was a long time I've seen Aral performing on stage. Men a missed sessions/talks like this... More of that!

I only saw the second half, and expected a bit of a boring introduction. Quite amazed how it turned out to be quite engaging.

Good content and good presentation style

It was a good introduction to Solr, but I would probably have liked a few more examples (instead of bullet points). It might also be a good idea to focus more on setting up and features than on why to use it. It's important to know when to look at it, but the balance was in my opinion a bit off.

I liked it, and I even managed to pick up some things. However, Raymond should probably leave out the parts about hitting people with bats and breaking fingers.

Good overview of PHP/WinCache on Windows with practical examples showing relative advantages of the different caching choices available.
