Thanks for your comments!
I made the mistake of not having an in-progress branch of the project (even though I always do this!), and will make sure to use it next time.
Thanks everyone for your comments! I liked your suggestions for making things less abstract (more code samples would help, I agree), to finish earlier and allow for questions, and to bring back the functional influences (they were there in a previous edition, but I forgot to add them to the rewritten version as well).
An important subject, but stretched out too long. If I had know beforehand I would have skipped this talk.
A very simple but effective model that is easily applicable.
Best talk on soft skills I visited this conference.
During this talk I realized I had misread the abstract and that the talk was of lesser relevance to me than I thought, but overall a refreshing presentation that reminded me that common practices might just be our conventions pushing us to overengineer a solution instead of looking at it from a distance to find a simple one.
This is one of the better talks on the topic I have found. In essence I agree with Tim Huijzers comment, although I understand the decision to keep the talk to the happy path of this design.
This talk had some ok points, but halfway through I found myself disengaged as the talk had been reduced to 'scrum if only the tech lead participates' in my mind. I would have liked to see some more focus on managing concrete human issues.
This presentation provided a useful exercise in considering the people side of our work, but I am unsure what I really took away from it as it eventually seemed to boil down to predicting the crowd.
great talk.
