Very clear overview of serverless topic, with an accent on AWS as a solution provider.
The talk covered some use cases, and it included a demo how to very quickly setup and use FaaS. But the more important aspect of the talk was the shift to functional programming in order to get the job done and provide value to the business, both through simplification of the technological stack, and through reduction of costs.
There was also a few words on potential pitfalls and potential for cost overruns in case of poorly written code.
To sum it up, this is a talk definitively worth listening, and I highly recommend the speaker in general.
Terrific talk. Very insightful even for someone, who has had quite a bit of contact with the subject of mental health issues themselves.
I hope many people will see the talk once it is uploaded.
Great lecture on how to scale and not scale a project/website and a lot of examples when things can go wrong. Very good presenter also, full of energy and a lot of humor.
Really good examples on how to use Git and make your life easier on large projects.
Great talk, densely packed with useful info. Although faced with all of this on the daily bases, this talk made me realize how much there is to successfully run the application in development. I'm sure Nikola could have shared even more if only conference format allowed.
I felt every sentence deep in my core. Perfectly describing what we end up getting called to fix.
super talk packed with great info
Really liked the talk because it tells how to level up your team from the technical side, how to improve their software development game. I also liked funny references to Star Wars and a rant about agile coaches. Will try out mob programming after this definitely!
This talk inspired me to give it a try at mob programming! Maybe even to organize a mob programming event.
Great talk, nice examples with Pokemons! Didn't know you can create VR that easily in the browser.
