I wish the speaker would have gone farther into the topic. It's not a new concept to me, but it seemed to focus more on how 5.6 does it, vs what it is, and when to use it.
Great motivational talk on how to learn. Was a great start for the conference.
Very good talk. It was nice to hear about some of the tools methods that can be used to first FIND your problems.
Nice presentation with an intro to all git hooks. I like the presentation style. It would be nice to see some more code examples. Also, try to provide more info on github hooks as many people are using them.
@disjoint: thanks for your feedback. I tried to give more information than was possible in the 45min slot. Sorry you felt it was a sales pitch, I did not have any intention for that.
I agree with others' comments above. Ken appears to have a good understanding of the material, and the session could benefit from some fine-tuning: cleaning up redundant slides, increasing the pace, rehearsing the material, and incorporating more information about how Backbone integrates with PHP. With these refinements, I think it has the potential to be a very good talk.
Awesome talk. It gave me more topics to do research on for responsive development.
Speaker unprepared, multiple slides repeated, continually looking at slides and seemed to be his first time. Code on slides totally unreadable. (Red on black)
It was a well rehearsed talk aimed for corporate clients. I was hoping that it was would be at a higher level, instead of being for beginners.
The affect worked for some, but not for me.
Overall a good job with good content.
