Very good talk.
Jon is a personable guys with a great future in programming - but this talk didn't deliver on the promise from poor prep to a somewhat rambling delivery - it all needs honing. I look forward to seeing him at a future conference with the experience from this informing his future efforts.
I agree with Eryn about the last half of the talk. I enjoyed the first half immensely and Mike, the speaker, was really quite funny. He's a great speaker and personable.
Nice talk. Seeing the actual Pocket site compared to Jonathan's responsive web design was very insightful and helpful.
I've just started teaching my brother web development so this talk couldn't have come at a better time. Larry gave a pretty good roadmap on how to teach and brought up ideas I hadn't even considered (such as constraints dictating how and what you teach). Larry was open and forthcoming about his style of teaching.
Loved this informed and concise talk. I just started using Composer; Sequoia explained the tool and showed examples, which was nice. He didn't go too fast where I couldn't follow along on my laptop as he talked about it.
Insightful talk and I'll definitely be bringing some of his ideas to my company. Very intrigued about releasing as often as Etsy does. The data he presented helped a lot.
Interesting Talk. Started a little late with projector problems. The talk got bogged down a little with all the Laravell config settings, but excellent overview of the Laravell file structure. Good clean examples of MVC at the end. Wanted more but time ran out. Hopefully the example files will be posted somewhere.
