The motto I draw from this talk is "If you want to understand X, code your own X, then discard it". A funny exercise to do when you have enough time, but not for the faint of the heart. The speaker did a good job making this funny.

It's a good topic to consider when designing our model, although more code would have helped the dense explanation. Kinda difficult to follow in overall.

Finally some fresh air in the patterns debate, a good exercise to do. Difficult topic, but the speaker made it easy to digest.
