Talk comments

Excellent talk mixing tech and business. The second half of the talk about code was very good but discussed the tech in a more business context. Honestly, it was the first half of the talk about using Impact Mapping, Feature Mapping and BDD at different stages, what they offered, etc that were the killer sections for me.

This was a really good talk, my favorite of the conference but I'd love to see a full length version or workshop focusing on just the first half.

Would give a 3 as well but saw Speaker's comment that he prepared this within the hour. Very well done for on the spot. The other comments are true, too much time turned away from the audience (due mostly to the room), and perhaps a little more discussion about how JuJu fits in with other technologies we know like Puppet or Docker. This is really cool stuff but please show us that.

Wow, energy! I've seen Jeremy speak before but never like this. Fast-paced and fun, even with a heavy topic. Some of the generalizations made me a little uncomfortable and I missed focus beyond some bullet points, but fun, fast and relevant.

Great talk, well presented. Speaker was confident, took questions well and obviously had serious experience in this field. The examples were excellent and showed how Solr can do things that would be very, very hard to do with a normal database.

The only downside were some of the later examples which were much more difficult and I struggled to understand completely. Probably my fault, there were explanations but I didn't understand all of the alt key double facet stuff.

Still, a very good talk!

Good talk that a complicated topic sound very easy. Lots of practical examples. Speaker spent a little too much time explaining his own code style which was distracting and would have liked to see database schema examples, just for completeness. Good talk, would recommend.

BOOM! You nailed it dude. Finally starting to see a real formalised future where devs can add value rather than rewriting the same code over and over. Car analogy was Sweeeeet! Awesome to see behat and PHPSpec making getting up to speed faster and less work than not using them!

I can't believe that this was your first talk at a conference. Well prepared slides, good delivery... all natural!

Great job!
