Excellent talk. Speaker was very engaging and funny. The topic was well thought out and arguments put across well.

Very interesting and insightful talk.
But the title suggested/implied that it might provide practical tips for other companies to use/follow. It seemed too focused on Facebook and their situation as opposed to general notes for other companies.

Very good talk. Interesting with a good amount of detail on a variety of topics. Seemed quite comfortable giving a talk with a good sense of humour.
I'd have personally liked a bit more detail but can appreciate that it would have been difficult in the time given.

Very good opening talk.

I really like the look of this product, and eading Jonathan's comment about being able to license the server software to run it inside your own network is very interesting.

Time for some research! :)

This is a great example of an uncon-talk. The 15 minutes was just right for presenting the product, and the talk was very informative.

Like Rémon I kinda miss a Dutch and a German option for it though :)

Very interesting subject matter, presentation was a little too short though. I think Michael could easily fill an hour on this subject, although that might get quite hard-core as far as the content is concerned (i.e. getting pretty deep into the nitty gritty coding instead of the somewhat more general overview presented here).

I've certainly picked up some ideas which I'll be using in a coming project where we're also processing large volumes of data continuously (although not on the same scale as Michael's team is).

This talk was one of my top two talks of the weekend. Very entertaining, very relevant and very well presented.

The way Rowan handled (and dare I say even used) the 'technical difficulties' was a very real learning point. And that was just at the start of the talk :)

Excellent presentation. As others have said, there's nothing really new in the talk, but it's great to be reminded of what we should look out for.

Session could easily have been twice as long and just as entertaining and interesting.

This talk was the highlight of the day, I think Volker could easily have continued for another 30 minutes (I wouldn't have minded).

Very entertaining with and a little bit thought provoking, excellent combination to end the weekend with.
