Talk comments

Thanks for the introduction to Zend Framework 2, Rob! I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the first beta and getting the most out of the event management system.

A fantastic talk on how to estimate your time and some amusingly unanticipated practical examples of how it can all go wrong.

With some interesting aspects of estimating a project I had never considered before it was invaluable hearing another developers take on it.

Also an introduction to the Kano Model... somthing to use in my next project I think

Good to see an application being given its first public airing. Been great to have seen more of this style of show and tell from the developers shoes.

While the talk mainly covered extensions I really enjoyed how Derick used this as a gateway into some of the internals of PHP itself. I believe there were probably two decent talk's worth of material in what he covered - one on the internals of PHP and one going into more detail about how to actually write an extension with c code, examples, pointers to the most useful macros etc. I suspect he could even cover a third talk purely on the politics of PHP!

Best talk of the conference. Volker is a very funny speaker and knows his subject well. I got a lot out of this.

A talk driven from the nitty gritty of what really matters. Refreshing take on testing. Boldly presented at times.

Again, a useful talk, but more time should have been allowed - half an hour is not enough to cover the material.

A good talk on a subject often skipped over by others. I now know what the stats pyramid means! Would have liked to have seen a little more on the maths side of it but I understand how that could have dried the talk out. Well done on a good talk on a difficult to present subject.

Well presented, always good to learning from others learning and mistakes. Can't help but think most the mistakes came from corporate culture not code testing.

A good, positive message for the start of the conference.
