A reasonably good update. I would have preferred more detail, (and possibly a more complete list of changes) but obviously time is limited.
Really enjoyed the talk and Rowan did a great job given the problems thrown at him. Look forward to seeing the slides :)
Couldn't help but think "I need to code more!" when seeing this keynote. Nice job and good way to start the day's talks.
A nice short introduction into php/web security with a lot of good and valid points getting in some of the promised 'from the field' experience but not as much as I had hoped to.
It was a very nice unconf talk and I'd like to the 45/60 minute version at unconf EU or some other conference!
Sebastian delivered a great talk, Even though i do not know much around the metrics i did leave understanding exactly what they were and how to use them and will be looking to influence them for my self in the up-coming future.
For me Laura presentation was the most valuable talk I've seen at the whole conference.
Her points about test motivation started the presentation of nicely and then I got to hear a convincing story about field experience that one doesn't get by reading books and blogs.
Presenting hard facts that could have been easily looked up in book is way less interesting than what Laura told me in that talk.
Her PHPUnit phpcs standard and especially her explaining the reasoning behind every sniff is something that will help me immensely in my next projects. Thank you very much for sharing that!
Well delivered insight on how such a large development team work together efficiently
Elizabeth is an excellent speaker how i enjoy to listen to pretty much no matter the subject.
That said the actual content was not very focused on dealing with people but actually with describing a set of different personalties typed from one of the many "sorting people in buckets" approaches. This is a good introduction in the subject and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the approach but for a 15 minute presentation a very quick overview of personality types and like link might have sufficed. Leaving some more time for the actual 'dealing with' portion of the talk that started of good but was over before i got anything useful out of it.
Also I'd recommend to checking http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonviolent_Communication to everyone interested in the subject ;)
Excellent party. Good fun, nice drinks, good food, Wii with Mario Kart, and most of all: a cool bunch of people. I had lots of fun!
Promised to be an interesting talk but felt it unfortunately underdelivered a little. To be fair to Enrico, he did a very good job of getting over the language barrier, but I think the real problem was that it appears from the talk that ZF2 just isn't far enough along yet to go into much depth over.
