Mostly about dependency injectors. Good coverage of it though.
Great stuff. Good coverage. Thanks.
Good talk on CouchDB. Next time maybe choose the whole topic and not let the audience get a say. Seemed a bit rushed an incomplete towards the end. Covered the basics of CouchDB well.
Not too much information. Mostly about register globals.
The speaker could have covered more security issues.
Really good and inspiring talk about what we always forget.
Very good talk. Was kinda expecting to see eZ publish up there in the list as well.
Thanks for the good pointers.
Really good coverage of all the issues, wonderful to see someone so passionate about thier topic. Lorna didn't need her bullet point ridden slides. Really good use of anecdotes too. Would have liked to see some content touch on performance, bit otherwise superb. Can't fault. Look forward to Lorna speaking more.
Good summary of RPC/REST even though I knew them to that level. I'm sadly a SOAP fan and have come to the same problems before regarding arrays though I'd prefer libraries to get more consistent than to ingore it.
I was wondering if the speaker recognised the difference between configuration constants (the worse of the two) and fixed value ones which are more fair. ZF has the latter in the form of enum class constants that I doubt many would consider bad practice.
Also ORM and AR aren't that bad, it's whether you tie your domain logic to them.
Most of the other points were spot on.
A good overview of some nice 5.3 features and a really good dependency injection lesson.
