Covered quite a lot. Some was quite familiar but some was hearing about for first time. Definitely need to look up some more on a few things.
Some interesting thoughts about things to avoid and why, presented by a very witty and good speaker.
Best talk of the day for me just really good content and excellent speaker.
Some good highlights of what's available and code to show how it can be implemented and used. Could have done with some sort of pointer to show what's what as the speaker was describing each section of code on the slides.
Excellent talk with lots of technical details and interesting demos
Reinforced some existing ideas and showed me a couple of new tricks.
I enjoyed it, but nothing groundbreaking.
I now realise how much I hate crap legacy code: even a well presented talk by a charismatic speaker upset me.
Surprised that I did not hear Josh use the words "lean" or "agile" thoughout his talk, when many of the ideas he presented were expressions of lean or agile practices.
Loved it. Lorenzo's talk was a great mental workout.
I thought the presentation and slides were sympathetically crafted: highlighting the sections of SQL and keeping the formatting/layout consistent was a big help.
Dynamic speaker (he ran about a bit) maybe could have been better titled as one long usage example on dependancy injection with anon funcs took majority of time. But I enjoyed a lot.
