Genuinely engaging talk - delivered expertly. My only reservation is that I would have liked to hear more numbers about the wordpress deployment (how much data pushed through memcache, for example). The Q+A was amusing, but probably not for the right reasons.

I think the format of the talk needs more work to make it genuinely engaging. Probably needed to start out trying to sell the idea more, including "why use XMPP". This lack of an overview made it very difficult to care about the intricacies of setup (including such gems as "apt-get install vim"). A missed opportunity.

Can't really argue with this talk. Good mix of content, engaging.

This is what makes the conference the best of the PHP calendar. A really good space to mingle and chat and a nicely distributed beer delivery system.

Interesting overall but deploy live 100 times a day is defo a fun topic :)

Really good introduction to mongo. Made me want to use it everywhere I can!
