Good start to the conference, nice and light subject.
Few things I don't agree, but let us agree to disagree :)
Great presenter, kept his cool while technical problems, very experienced and I can't argue with anything that was presented.
On the downside it was quite basic, at least for me.
Secondly such an experienced guy should have more prepared examples to support his theories. I know that you could think of something, because there were reasons behind everything that the presenter said :)
2 top talks, hope to see more in the future
I think that we developers should be aware of how devops work. I really liked to see this kind of talks in a developers conference plus I really enjoyed it.
Great talk. It may sound childish but I really loved the fact that she presented all the material using videos instead of slides. Hats off.
A very OO approach, not handy everywhere, but it's nice to know the idea.
SQL inside objects might be bad practice, still the author had his reasons and knew how to support them by arguments.
I would prefer to see something like this using an example framework so that a presenter could show using a strict OO pattern with the framework's limitations.
