Super talk, but slides was too low and thus was very hard to follow
Great talk.
Very funny. Very good. Very short.
A great trip down memory lane. I'd all but forgotten about PHP 3!
I went in not really knowing much about AngularJS so this was pitched slightly above my level of knowledge, but I found plenty to take away. As a Dojo user it was interesting to see the different approach to some similar processes, without them being directly comparable libraries. The speaker was very engaging and confident making for an entertaining and informative talk.
Fantastic keynote, makes me hopeful about the future of PHP and IT
. Hopefully one day we will use the same best practices and tools (version control) for IT as we do (should) in development.
Very good presentation. I know now more about why I stayed away from this part of the language, but I want even more to try using it.
Started with a few basics, and then showed a few ideas/patterns that I hadn't thought of and will definitely try to apply. Good use of examples, good overall clarity and pace.
I think mid-talk Q&A was actually a good idea, although perhaps could be made slightly more clear. This is just a very small feedback though and not worth knocking a star off.
Great talk.
Pretty good explanation of some SPL features and quirks. Puts you off using SPL at the same time as making you want to try it and make it better. The word 'iterator' didn't sound right anymore by about half way through.
Talk was at a basic level. I'd suggest more discussion of open source politics and standards rather than human fear coping etc. Did learn about some new resources though.
