Talk comments

On top of being a strong talk, Ciaran was probably one of the better speakers on the line up.
The delivery of the topic was great and well paced, even despite a poorly voice,

This talk certainly highlighted a few flaws in our own test stack, and served as a good reminder to address these!

Like a couple of commenters have mentioned, I'm not sure why there was a seemingly random bounce between Unit and Spec?
Perhaps Ciaran was looking to avoid accusations of bias?

Great talk, very well presented

A nice idea for a talk, covering something that is important to everyone, and delivered well

Clearly a topic that matters a great deal to Jenny, and that came through in a very impassioned delivery

It's always interesting to compare your own process to that of other other companies, and seeing which bits you can adapt towards.

A few commenters have mentioned that nothing new was offered by this talk, and while I wouldn't say I learned I wasn't already aware of, it did not affect my enjoyment of the talk

I always love watching Marcello present

The very best talks are those that make you want to go in to work on Monday and start doing this right away, and this talk very much checked that box for me

Useful overview of some very cool tools, and kudos for attempting a live demo.

On top of that it was well and engagingly presented

On occasion it was difficult to tell whether Jordi was addressing people writing packages or people consuming them, perhaps splitting this talk into 2 sections covering both scenarios might help?
I appreciate that a lot of the content would apply to both scenarios there though.

It was very useful however to have our use of composer validated by the "horses mouth" as mentioned by another commenter

I have seen Thijs deliver a few talks now and have always enjoyed them. His style is engaging and humorous and backed with knowledge.

I found this talk particularly useful as it addressed a problem area that I am looking to deal with soon, and it helped focus my thinking on the matter

A great, and thought provoking opening to the conference.

I always enjoy talks such as this that compare the act of development to something completely unrelated and show related themes running throughout both, so due (as well as the the content and delivery) to that I rate this talk highly.

I never particularly noticed the sermon or preachy nature of the talk that many of the commenters have pointed to, although in hindsight can understand that it could have come across in such a way
