Talk of the conference for me. Filled in all the gaps I had with TDD. When people have questions about TDD in my workplace I shall be directing them to this talk. The pace was perfect and the delivery clear and concise (despite the throat issues)
First time I've seen Gary talk and I really enjoyed his engaging and energetic delivery.
Sarah covered all the main topics and clearly has a good understanding but the talk was a little dry and perhaps lacked enthusiasm.
Nice, gentle introduction to DDD and Hexagonal architecture. Particular like the dynamic approach to such topics as value objects (exchanging a £10 for example). My only criticism really was the diagrams (the inner hexagon ones). They were quite confusing whilst their intention should be to aid understanding.
Really good, clear intro to apigility. Left with the feeling 'well I know what I'll be building my next API with' which is probably what the speaker intended.
Solid keynote - enjoyed her enthusiastic style.
Loved his speaking style and found him really engaging as a speaker. I enjoy being challenged so really appreciated the talk. The demo was cool, if a little self indulgent. Would have liked a more comprehensive conclusion.
Was really excited about this talk but struggled a little bit with the pace. There seemed to be a lot of information to take in which I struggled to cope with at first. The content was good though and it's a talk I'll be re-watching once the videos are out to make sure I got it all.
I've seen Marcello speak a few times now and the sessions always seems to fly by! Really engaging speaker, knows what he's talking about and always presents content in a fun and interesting way.
Inspiring final keynote delivered expertly.
