A great talk indeed. Loved the way IT was presented. A nice combination of topics either for developpers or managers. Great control of the time during the talk. Congratulations Lorna.
Great talk, but also very interesting for managers. And I love the humor. I think it is also very insightfull for many people who get involved in the development process.

Setting aside for the moment the fact that Lorna is one of my best friends in the PHP community, this is a great talk. Lorna delivers it with authority and humor.
This is the 2nd talk I see of him and it met my expectations. He gets his message across and it fun to see his slides.
Enjoyed David's presentation style, he's very comfortable with the material and knows the subject very well. Personally, I like his push towards validation and he didn't shy away from going into all the various limitations and pitfalls of XML. Only downside was running out of time before getting into the SOAP vs. REST discussion, but we hit some of that in lunch anyway.
Was hoping to see a bit more about PHPillow, but there were some good points in there about the considerations for how you format the your data for CouchDB. Would have like to see a bit more detail on the specifics, but came away with some things to research.
Enjoyed the local beer, but the long, thin table arrangement downstairs made it hard to mingle and socialise. Feels like the hotel bar would have worked much better.
Good talk, but you should bitch more about ZSL ;-)
The concepts and content is good, but the executing of the presentation could be done better by rehersing and walking through it before a presentation.
A talk by Lorna is always a joy to attend....
